Elite Equipment Rentals grew out of hands-on experience working with heavy equipment, forestry and land clearing — and seeing firsthand what happens when the right machine is unavailable.


Founded by Brady Bennett, a former heavy equipment technician, Elite was built to give contractors, landowners, businesses and qualified homeowners access to equipment selected for the work they actually need to do.

Elite Equipment Rentals officially launched in 2023 after years of renting equipment and working alongside crews in forestry, land clearing and land development. The business grew from a practical need: when machines went down or extra equipment was needed, dependable rental options for specialized work were often limited.


The company was built to help close that gap with equipment chosen around the jobs customers actually need to complete. Today, the fleet supports commercial crews, landowners, businesses, homeowners and qualified DIY renters working in forestry, land clearing, excavation, construction and property improvement.



That range allows Elite to serve both professional and residential customers, from qualified homeowners and DIY renters using compact machines to commercial crews and experienced landowners needing larger, more specialized equipment.

After high school, Brady Bennett studied mechanical science in college before becoming a heavy equipment technician with Yancey Bros. While building his technical experience, he also worked in forestry and land clearing on the side.


That combination gave him a firsthand view of the pressure equipment-dependent businesses face. When a machine breaks down or a crew is short on equipment, schedules can stall quickly. Brady saw an opportunity to provide rental equipment that could help clearing professionals stay productive without immediately purchasing another machine.



He eventually moved into forestry and land clearing full time. Elite Equipment Rentals grew from that field experience and a practical understanding of how equipment works, how it performs on the job, and what downtime can cost the people relying on it.

Elite’s original rental setup began with a Denis CIMAF mulching head and a Takeuchi skid steer — equipment selected for the forestry and land-clearing work Brady already knew well.


The company has continued to grow from that specialized starting point, adding equipment that supports a broader range of clearing, earthmoving, construction, landscaping and property improvement work.


That beginning still shapes the business today. Elite does not build its fleet around what every rental yard carries. Equipment is selected for the work customers actually face — from forestry and land clearing to excavation, site preparation, landscaping and demanding property projects.
